Long Fin Leopard Danios are native to the rivers and streams of Southeast Asia, particularly in India, Bangladesh, and Myanmar. They prefer clear, well-oxygenated waters with moderate flow.
Tank Setup:
These fish thrive in a well-maintained aquarium with a minimum size of 10 gallons. Provide them with plenty of swimming space and a mix of open areas and planted areas for hiding. A sandy substrate and moderate water flow are ideal for their habitat.
Diet:
Long Fin Leopard Danios are omnivorous and will readily accept a variety of foods. Their diet should consist of high-quality flake or pellet food supplemented with live or frozen foods such as brine shrimp, daphnia, or bloodworms.

Long Fin Leopard Danios prefer a temperature range of 72-78°F (22-26°C) and a pH range of 6.5-7.5. They can tolerate a wide range of water hardness, but a neutral to slightly alkaline pH is ideal.
