Black Devil Ram - Papiliochromis Ramirezi

Origin: 

The Papiliochromis Ramirezi is native to the Orinoco River basin in South America and thrives in a well-planted aquarium with a sandy substrate. 

Diet: 

These dwarf cichlids are omnivorous and have a diverse diet. They will readily accept high-quality flake or pellet food, but it is important to supplement their diet with live or frozen foods such as brine shrimp, bloodworms, and daphnia to ensure optimal health and coloration.

Tank Mates:

Dark Knight Rams are peaceful and generally do well in community tanks. They may become aggressive during breeding.

Water Parameters: 

To provide a suitable environment for the Mikrogeophagus Ramirezi, a well-planted aquarium with plenty of hiding spots and open swimming areas is recommended. The tank should have a sandy substrate and be equipped with a gentle filtration system. The water temperature should be maintained between 78-84°F (25-29°C), with a pH level of 6.0-7.0.
