Habitat:
This species is native to Lake Malawi, which is one of the African Great Lakes. In the wild, Livingston’s Hap Cichlid inhabits rocky areas along the shoreline, where it can find shelter and establish territories.
To replicate their natural habitat, it is recommended to set up a spacious aquarium with plenty of rocks and caves for hiding and territorial purposes. Provide a sandy substrate and include some plants and driftwood for added aesthetics. Ensure the tank has a good filtration system and maintain a stable water temperature.
Diet:
Livingston’s Hap Cichlid is an omnivorous species. In the wild, it feeds on a variety of small invertebrates, insects, and plant matter.
