Habitat:
Providing hiding places for them is of utmost importance. With careful planning of your aquarium layout, you can not only provide your corydora with hiding places, but you will also have the benefit of seeing it. Suitable materials to use as hiding places include wood, rocks, slate, and aquatic plants.
They are often described as nocturnal creatures as they are most active at night. They prefer to live at the bottom of an aquarium (or at the bottom of rivers, lakes, streams, etc. in their natural environments). Of course, there are exceptions to this general rule.
Catfish generally make excellent tank mates for a wide variety of other fish species.
