Tetra's Freshwater wide range PH test kit tests PH levels between 5.0 and 10.0 reliably and precise. pH should be carefully monitored to ensure its kept at a stable level as drastic change in pH levels can effect all the inhabitants in an aquarium including the beneficial filter bacteria. To ensure you keep the pH at a stable level you will also need to monitor the KH levels as low carbonate hardness means a low PH level.
